Our Editorial Policy
How GigaCasino researches, reviews and fact-checks its casino content, and how we stay independent. 18+, T&Cs apply.
Last updated 16 July 2026
GigaCasino is an independent affiliate site, run by Thorne Media Ltd since 2023. This policy sets out how our content is produced, checked and kept current, so you can judge for yourself how much weight to give what we publish.
How we produce content
Every review and guide is written by a named person with hands-on knowledge of the subject, not spun out of a press release. Our lead analyst, Elena Marsh, has nine years in the industry and focuses on bonus terms, payments and live casino. Where a page discusses a specific product, we work from the operator’s published data and the game studio’s own specifications. For slots, that means reading the paytable and mechanics from the provider rather than paraphrasing marketing copy. Take Gates of Olympus by Pragmatic Play as an example: we describe its pay-anywhere grid, tumbling wins and multiplier orbs, and we quote its stated RTP of 96.5% rather than rounding it to a friendlier figure.
We cover casinos that hold a recognised licence. Where an operator states its licensing, such as regulation by the Malta Gaming Authority, we record the authority and licence number exactly as published and treat anything we cannot confirm as unverified.
How we review and fact-check
Before anything goes live, a second read checks the numbers and the claims against source data. Each page carries a byline and a last-reviewed date, shown as the “Last updated” field, so you know who stands behind it and when it was last looked at. Reviews are revisited when terms change materially or when a reader flags something, and the review date is refreshed only when the content itself has genuinely been checked again, not on a schedule for appearance’s sake.
We name our providers and products deliberately. Coverage across studios such as Pragmatic Play, Play’n GO, Evolution and NetEnt reflects what each operator actually offers, and we say so plainly when a claimed feature cannot be verified.
How we handle bonus, RTP and licensing claims
Bonus percentages, wagering requirements, RTP figures, payout times and deposit limits are only stated when they appear in the operator’s own published information. These values change and can vary by market, so every such figure carries the same caveat: T&Cs apply, and you should verify the current terms on the operator’s site before you deposit. We do not publish invented statistics, and we do not present a bonus as better than its conditions allow. Where a detail is missing or unconfirmed, we omit it or describe it in general terms rather than guess.
For an overview of how these principles shape a single write-up, see our approach to casino reviews, and for the offers themselves our bonus coverage.
Corrections policy
We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do we fix them. If you spot an error, email us at hello@luckythorne.example. Substantive corrections are made promptly, the affected page’s review date is updated, and where a change alters the meaning of what we previously said, we note that the page has been amended.
Advertising and independence
GigaCasino earns commission when readers sign up with operators through our links, and that is how the site pays for itself. That commercial relationship never buys a higher rating or a softer review. Commercial arrangements and editorial judgement are kept separate: the people who assess an operator are not steered by what it pays. Our ratings reflect our own assessment, and we are willing to publish critical points about partners we earn from. For the full detail of these relationships, see our affiliate disclosure.
